
BURBANK, CALIF. (March 16, 2015) – Market City Caffe (164 E. Palm Ave) is excited to announce the return of their highly anticipated Artichoke Festival starting on National Artichoke Heart Day, March 16, and running through April 12, featuring California artichokes from Ocean Mist Farms in Castroville, Calif. Due to great response from guests, MCC Hospitality Group is extending the festival to involve Market City Caffe’s sister restaurants in Los Angeles at Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro at The Grove; and in Las Vegas at Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro at The Palazzo and d.vino Italian Food and Wine Bar at Monte Carlo.
“MCC Hospitality Group is proud to celebrate the Artichoke Festival at all of our restaurants,” says proprietor and winemaker Chipper Pastron. “Each location will feature the hearty vegetable in different dishes determined by the chef’s creative interpretation and driven by local seasonal ingredients.”
The artichoke is one of the oldest foods around dating back to Greek mythology and packed with antioxidants making it a nourishing, yet tasty ingredient.
